The Skills For Life Basketball Academy is a program that was designed by Curley “Boo” Johnson, David Booth and Alexis Khazzam (of Junction Ventures) with two purposes in mind:

1. To provide a superior level of instruction in the fundamentals of basketball, and

2. Deliver an educational component that is not only relevant to, but pertinent for 9-16 year olds - how to avoid peer pressure, drugs and gang involvement; pursuing a higher education; goal setting; volunteerism and other life skills.
