About the Academy
April 7th, 2008Skills for Life Basketball Academy is a premier summer day camp for young men between 9 and 16 years of age. The Academy is coached by internationally renowned basketball players David Booth and Curley “Boo” Johnson with assistance from top high school and college players from the Peoria the area.
The $150 registration fee includes:
- Total involvement by coaches, staff, and players
- One-on-one skill development with individual player evaluation and instruction
- Daily contests and games with awards
- Guest Speaker presentations about teamwork, respect, and integrity
- Team play in teams and divisions according to age, height, and ability
- Camp T-shirt
Academy Goals:
- Improve playing skills
- Equip campers with the skills they need to be successfull on and off the court: leadership, teamwork, respect, and integrity
- Most importantly: Have fun!
Morning Session
For campers 9-12 years old
Camp: 9am - 12pm
Drop off: 8-8:30am / Pickup: 12-1pm
Afternoon Session
For campers 13-16 years old
Camp: 1pm-4pm
Drop off: 12-12:30pm / Pickup: 4-4:30pm
